STEP 1 IQC

Incoming Quality Control

Incoming raw materials and packaging components are checked against applicable specifications and documentation before use in production.

Depending on the material or component, incoming controls may include appearance, odour, physical condition, colour, lot information, packaging integrity and other defined acceptance criteria.

STEP 2 IPQC

In-Process Quality Control

Quality parameters are monitored during manufacturing to help maintain consistency with the approved formula and production specifications.

Depending on the product type, applicable checks may include appearance, colour, odour, pH, viscosity, consistency and other defined physical characteristics.

Any applicable process parameters are reviewed according to the product specification before the batch proceeds to the next manufacturing stage.

STEP 3 PQC

Bulk Product Quality Control

Before filling, the manufactured bulk is evaluated against applicable specifications to confirm that the product remains consistent with the approved standard.

Depending on the formula, evaluation may include appearance, colour, odour, texture, viscosity or other physical characteristics, together with applicable microbiological or additional quality testing.

Only bulk meeting the defined acceptance criteria proceeds to the next applicable production stage.

STEP 4 Filling & Packaging QC

Quality checks continue during filling and packaging to verify that the approved bulk is correctly transferred into the selected packaging system.

Applicable controls may include fill weight, component assembly, closure or sealing condition, product cleanliness, artwork and label placement, date or batch coding and packaging appearance.

Leakage, sealing or functional checks may also be performed where applicable to the selected packaging and product.

STEP 5 FQC

Finished Product Quality Control

Finished goods are inspected against applicable product and packaging specifications before release.

Final checks may include product appearance, packaging condition, coding, quantity, component assembly and other defined finished-product criteria.

Applicable microbiological or additional release testing is performed according to the product specification and quality-control requirements.
